Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
Looking for a simple, fun, and timeless British classic? The MGB is the car for you, the perfect Sunday driver.
First released to the world in 1962 and produced until 1980, the soft-top sports car formula of the MGB stayed relatively simple throughout. A B-series engine produced 98BHP at 5400RPM, a big step up from the original origins.
The honest charm, good looks and simple mechanics made it hugely successful, shortly becoming Britain's best-selling sports car. With an estimated 23,000 still on UK roads, they may not be particularly exclusive, but the Pininfarina-styled cars still provide that authentic classic car experience.
This example is coming out of 5 years of ownership from retired panel-beater Phil. He's restored this MG MGB Roaster, finished in Old English White over red leather interior. This car is ready to be enjoyed, with all the mechanical and cosmetic jobs already attended to.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Phil the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Hi Phil. Lovely car. I’m in the bidding for it. Just a quick question: could you say where the bolt on wire wheels came from and roughly what price? It’s just that I own another classic with mini lites and I’d like to change yo these.
Many thanks
Nigel
Hi Nigel, thank you for your question.
I’m not too sure about the price, but if you look up bolt on wire wheels, you should come up with the results and also the nuts also come with them. Hope this answers your question
Can I ask if you had the work done to repair the corrosion advisories highlighted in the 2016 and 2017 MOTs and what this work involves? Thanks very much. Daniel
Hi Daniel, all the work was done and repaired during the bare metal respray. Thank you
