Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
Fast Fords weren't limited to just the Sierra and Escort, the Granada got in on the action too.
The Granada Mk III was the last car to bear the Granada badge in the UK and Ireland, before being replaced in 1994 by the pan-European Scorpio which shared it platform doors and roof. The Granada Mk3 first came along in 1985, being a Cosworth refined example every single bell and whistle was fitted to the car which added to an already long list of standard features. These included; ABS, heated leather seats, electric rear seats, heated windscreen and cruise control. The race engineers at Cosworth took the already very impressive Cologne 2.9L V6 and extensively reworked it for the Granada.
This example has been owned by a Ford enthusiast for the previous ~4 years, the low mileage being a particular draw. Presented in an attractive "Diamond White" over "Raven" colourway, it's a lovely original specification.
This listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Adrian the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

*** RESERVE MET *** This car will be sold to the highest bidder this evening.
Not in my ownership ( 4 years) I had dent removed from back drivers door ( shopping trolley I reckon )
Yes it has a reserve
Hi, has it ever had any paintwork? Is there a reserve on this auction?
There is a ten pence sized ” scab ” adjacent to the corner of the sunroof that the paint has gone….there are other ” spots ‘ nearby showing red but are not through the paint….the area really does need attention but all on the surface. Basically the width of the sunroof above the drivers door .
Rear passenger arch has no rust ( rest of car is clear ) but is not 100% …job to describe really! I looked at it when I purchased 4 years ago being rather suspicious but it has not changed in my ownership maybe an older repair? But it’s never got worse so I have left it
Thankyou for the quick response
The rust on the roof . Does it penetrate the skin?
Is ther rust on the wings too?
Looking at the history , I guess it’s due a service and timing belt change?
Any idea of the cost of this?
You say the radio and sunroof need attention. Exactly what are the problems?
Hi…yes car would benefit from a service….I am afraid I don’t know yhe cost of that plus timing belt
Radio is an aerial problem ( they are integrated in the back window I believe)
Sunroof works but needs manual help.
Both require skill sets I do not possess
