Introduction
The 262C is a relaxed and refined cruiser, with a lap of exclusivity and luxury. This particular vehicle enjoys the benefit of being a 1 owner vehicle and has covered only ~54,000 miles from new.
Danny is now handling the car, having acquired it from the family of the previous long-term owner at the end of last year. The car was sold as part of a bereavement and had been unused for six years, but has since undergone a light recommissioning, with an MOT placed on it for good measure.
This listing was written from information supplied by XXXXX after meeting XXXXX the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

I see the Car was written off as recently as 2015 – can you elaborate on the nature of the damage and who repaired it
Hi,
The “Category N” designation was applied while in custodianship of the original owner. Unfortunately this vehicle is only for sale due to the bereavement of the original owner. All documentation has been photographed and can be seen within the listing. None of the documentation appears to refer to the “Category N” designation.
If you would like to speak with Trade Classics to obtain my contact details then I would be more than happy to arrange a suitable time and day before the auction ends for you to come and inspect the vehicle for yourself.
Can you elaborate on the car losing power after a few miles – is it overheating when it happens,
Is it misfiring
Does it cut it all together and not start then
I’d like to ask the same question, is it a slow fade of power, or a stutter and misfire. Does it restart after a few seconds on full power.
I have driven it a few miles and it didn’t appear to happen to me. However, I was told it happened on the day of the photoshoot and one time when a colleague took it for a spin up our local country lanes. It doesn’t overheat and all gauges remain stable. I have been told it is a fade of power rather than misfiring. It will start up again but drive at reduced performance.
Hello Danny, if you scroll through the photos, it’s no 50. It’s the area behind the sill on the nearside rear arch. Thanks
Hi, Unfortunately I am still uncertain which of the photographs you are referring to as photograph 50 appears to be the offside rear light (for me at-least). Either way it has passed an MOT, so if there are any minor bodywork issues then I would assume it would be cosmetic only.

Hi,
I believe “Category N” is the new equivalent to the older “Category D”, which were regarded as cosmetic damage. As far as I am aware, these usually do not get published on the V5’s.

Anthony hall – I suspect there will be when the new new V5 is issued to the new owner.
Hello again, any details on the Cat N please. No mention on the V5.
Hi, Photo 50, is that just the underseal cracking or is there a split/crack in the metal of the inner wheelarch? Thanks.
Hi,
I am unsure what photograph you are referring to you, however there are closer photographs of the underneath within the “mechanical” gallery.
Kr,
Danny
