Italian flair in the super-saloon battle, the four-leaf clover Giulia put Alfa Romeo firmly back on the map.

Alfa put a Ferrari derived twin-turbo V6 into their Giulia family saloon to create a ~503bhp performance car. The V6 is coupled with a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox, which powers the rear wheels alone. The Quadrifoglio also gets a more aggressive bodykit compared to the standard car, with added carbon fibre including the sculpted lip spoiler.

This particular car comes to market after ~4.5 years of ownership, with only 1 previous owner and ~29,898 miles on the clock. It comes with a current MOT valid until 05.10.2023. Exterior

The Giulia Quadrifoglio has an aggressive stance, with carbon fibre elements, the quad exhausts and a huge diffuser.

Wheels and Tyres

The 19" lightweight alloys looked in good condition, we didn't notice any signs of corrosion on any of the wheels, as you'd expect as they have very recently been refurbished.

A pair of Pirelli P-Zero Nero GT were fitted at the front (245/35R19) and a pair of Pirelli P-Zero were fitted at the rear (285/30R19). All tyres seemed to be in good condition and have a decent amount of tread on them.

Bodywork

The bodywork of the Quadrifoglio looked in good shape, all shut lines looked good and even. We didn't notice any dents or other damage to the body.

Paint

The black paint looked in good condition, we didn't notice any deep scratches, but being picky we did notice some swirl marks when in direct sunlight, nothing a light polish couldn't fix though we think. We didn't notice any visible signs of corrosion coming through the paint either.

Glass and Trim

The glass around the car looked in great condition too, we didn't notice any chips or cracking any of the glass. We did notice a very small amount of condensation inside the front left headlight.

Interior

A very sporty cabin with carbon fibre trim, with aluminium paddles behind the steering wheel and the Start Stop button in easy reach.

Seats and Carpets

The half leather and Alcantara comfort seats have the Alfa Romeo logo embossed in the headrest with white and green stitching. They looked in good condition, we only saw slight signs of wear on the driver seat, we didn't notice any rips or tears in any of the seats.

The carpets also looked in good condition, we didn't notice any major stains in any of the carpets, the driver's removable carpet did look lightly marked. One of the velcro carpet holders had come loose under the passenger side front carpet, you can see this in the photos below.

Dashboard

All the controls are turned towards the driver, carbon fibre is inlayed on the dash, centre console and door cards. The clocks go all the way up to 200mph, with a redline of 6,500rpm.

The top of the dashboard has leather to it, and the white and green stitching continues here to give the car that extra special feel.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The flat-bottomed, three-pronged multifunction steering wheel features the engine starter button on it. It also features some carbon fibre on the lower section. The steering wheel looked in good condition too, showing only slight signs of wear.

The gear selector and aluminium paddles looked in good condition too we didn't notice much sign of wear either. Please take a look at the photos and video below to check the condition of the steering wheel and selector and paddles for yourself.

Mechanics

A 2.9L twin-turbo V6 packing ~503bhp is at the heart of the Quadrifoglio.

Engine and Gearbox

The V6 burst into life at first attempt, it has plenty of theatre with crackles and pops when revved. The engine felt very powerful on our drive with Peter. We didn't notice any unusual sounds from the engine whilst on the road either.

The 8-speed ZF gearbox felt smooth, shifts were quick too. Please take a look at the cold start video below to see for yourself the performance of the engine and gearbox.

Suspension and Brakes

On the road the suspension was supple, the car features different suspension modes to firm up the suspension depending on condition or driving style desired.

The large drilled brakes had plenty of bite when we were on the road. We didn't notice any squeaking or pulling from the brakes. Please take a look at the on the road video below to see how the suspension and brakes performed.

The Drive

The Quadrifoglio felt great on the road, it has plenty of theatre with the pops and bangs from the exhaust to accompany the V6 soundtrack with plenty of power under your right foot.

Electrics and Other

The electrics around the car seemed to be working as expected. We witnessed the radio with Harman Kardon sound system working as well as the drive selection with adjustable suspension, Peter assured us that all the electrics were working to his knowledge.

The Quadrifoglio has had four out its five services in a main dealer, comes to market from 4.5 year ownership and looks the part in its triple black colourway.
