Brian has owned the car for 3 years, with it having had just two previous owners before him. Backed up with a full service history, he has enjoyed his ownership having had an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage in the past for 8 years, has now secured a newer smaller car and so is reluctantly selling the Rapide for practicality.

Having secured his new car, Brian was hoping to have sold the Rapide before the coronavirus restrictions were put in place, and so is still motivated to sell as soon as possible.
 

Finished in Casino Royale Grey, the car looks stunning. There are a number of similarities in the design to the DBS, with the 4 door saloon body of the car being the obvious difference.

Brian informs us that the car is in excellent condition, the paint is even across all the panels as you would expect. The wheels are in great condition too, the Bridgestone tyres having plenty tread on them having only covered a few thousand miles from being newly fitted. Brian tells us a couple of the wheels have some slight nicks on them, and some slight scraping underneath the lower front bumper are the only things of note.

Wheels & Tyres
Finished in factory spec wheels and tyres being Bridgestone Potenza’s, they have plenty of tread left on them having only covered a few thousand miles. On the video review you’ll see a couple of the wheels have some slight nicks on them.

Bodywork
The panels look in good condition with no dents or bumps across the car, panel gaps looking as they should and no corrosion of the aluminium observed. Review the video footage to see the detail.

Paint
The paint is even in finish and colour across all the panels. The only thing to note is some scraping underneath the lower front bumper.

Glass and Trim
All looks excellent on this car.

Finished in black leather with black carpets throughout, the cabin looks like a very luxurious place to both command and cruise from. Importantly this example comes with optional extras such as; full Sat-Nav and entertainment system with DVD player, rear entertainment screens, B&O speakers throughout, parking sensors all round, cruise control.

Brian informs us that the interior is also in excellent condition, in line with the relative low mileage(~26,000 miles) of the car. Take a look at the pictures to see for yourself.

Seats and Carpets
The leather seats look very very comfortable, and in great condition. We could imagine doing many miles in them.

Dashboard
All looks in excellent condition in line with the age and mileage of the car.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick
Both looking tip top, wear if any in line with the low mileage nature of this car.

Aston Martins V12 engine upfront makes this car a real gentlemen’s express. The semi-automatic gearbox makes for easy driving around town, whilst still having the option to work the car through the gears, arguably the best of both worlds. The car comes with full Aston Martin service history, and Brian tells us that the battery has been changed (a bit of a job if you know about these cars), along with all the tyre pressure sensors on the wheels.

Based on the stunning DB9, the Rapide is a luxury saloon that can reach a top speed of 188mph with its roaring, 6.0L V12 engine. The model’s designer Marek Reichman described a thoroughbred race horse as his source of inspiration for a car that is the longest running production car of any Aston Martin in modern day.

This example, loaded with all the options and finished in a great colour make it an attractive Aston Martin. The main dealer service history and low mileage also help when it comes to provenance etc.
