Introduction
Alan Stuart
Stunning elegance, exquisite interior and a bit more spice with the S, this V8 roadster is something to get excited about.
Aston Martin unveiled the V8 Vantage S in early January 2011, showcasing a more potent version of the V8 and available in both coupe and roadster body styles, designed to create a more sporty experience than the standard models. With an extra 10BHP from the 4.7L V8, stiffer suspension and other chassis tweaks, the V8 Vantage S roadster has a power output up to ~430BHP. Fitted with a 7-Speed automatic gearbox with paddles as standard, twin sports exhausts and a host of interior goodies such as the integrated sat nav and 700W Aston Premium stereo system, the 'S' sharpens up the driving experience in all areas.
Having only covered around ~25,400 miles at the time of the engine fault, the Vantage effectively has a brand new engine which has only just been run in at over ~2,000 miles since fitted in 2021 with the clutch and rear discs being updated in July 2020. Finished in triple black, it's an ever popular choice and this car presents in excellent condition.

Ask Questions
Please can you confirm if AM warranty has been renewed or if now outside warranty?
Hi, The Aston Martin Warranty expired at the end of 2022 and has not been renewed.
Could I ask what was the problem with the original engine?
I never found out unfortunately as it was sent back to Germany. Aston Martin were excellent and replaced it without issue along with many ancillary parts (the car was still under the Aston warranty). Speaking to other Aston people its pretty rare to get engine failure as these are thought to be bullet proof. Hope this helps!
