The Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept car, first appeared at the 2003 International Geneva Motor Show and the 2003 Frankfurt International Motor Show. The R8 road car was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006 drawing high praise from the motoring industry.

Couple of questions regarding the recent MOT work. Looking at the online history seems like you MOT’d the vehicle twice in quick succession. What was your reason for this? Also the last MOT shows advisory for a shock. Have you done anything about that?

I didn’t trust the diagnosis of the first garage so I did the second mot which proved my suspicions( financial gain rather than correct diagnosis). I have not done anything about the shock as it was a minor issue.

I have a few questions ref the R8
The roof seems to have some noticeable creasing where it folds down, is there any deterioration of the material ie cracks rips etc
Has it been parked up for a while with the roof down maybe
Also has the car had any paint work while you have owned the car
There seems to be a mark on the n/s door handle edge

Thank you for your question.
The car has never been parked up for a long period of time with the roof down and there are no cracks or rips in the material.
The car has never had any paint work under my ownership. The paint is original.
The small mark on the door handle edge happened when my daughter opened the door and hit a tree.
