Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
A 90s monster - 3.2L straight six neatly fitted into the modified Z3 roadster chassis.
The BMW Z3 Roadster first launched in 1995, based on the same chassis as the E36 3 series. It was available as a roaster or coupe, and used the rear semi-trailing arm suspension design from the older E30. M-Division engineers worked hard to create an M version of the Z3, and used the majority of the components from the E36 M3 Evo to create such a car. The rear track was widened, and curvaceous rear arches were installed to accommodate the much larger wheels, new bumpers, quad-exhaust, and interior trim made the Z3M a rather unique beast.
This particularly example is finished in the sporty BMW colour of "Estroil Blue Metallic" with two-tone blue/black leather interior detailing. Garaged throughout the current ownership, it comes to market from ~1.5 years ownership with low miles at ~45,680, and has had some important preventative work done in that time; Vanos replaced as a precaution due to age, major service including water pump and timings belts. In addition, some other work like ensuring the AC works and a suspension refresh as needed. This car is the one to get if you want a ready to enjoy a Z3M roadster this year.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hi, These cars have a gear box issue that sits under fith gear when in neutral. I assume yours doesnt suffer from this issue?
cheers
Scott
Hi Scott, thanks for the question.
The gearbox is as it should be, no problems or issues with any of the gears.
Thanks
Hello, lovely example. I noticed on the test drive video, that the oil temp gauge didn’t seem to move past 50 degrees, yet the water temp gauge was showing car at normal operating temp. Can you confirm that the oil temperature guage is working? Thanks.
Hi, thanks for looking at the car. It is a great example. Yes the oil temp gauge works as it should. I can only assume as the drive was quite short it didn’t get upto temp whereas the water temp did. But yes it works as it should.
Thanks for asking
Paul
