Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
Sophisticated with an understated style, the Ferrari 456 GT carries itself with elegance and devastating power.
1992 brought in the latest evolution of the V12 Ferrari Grand Tourer. Aside from the praise for its elegant styling, it was notable for being the first new four-seater by Maranello in two decades. Perched at the top of the Ferrari price range, the 2+2 coupe quickly found an appreciative customer base and at the time of its release, established itself as the fastest front-engine car in the world. The beautifully balanced aerodynamic styling by Pininfarina with exterior styling cues that could be attributed to the Daytona, the elegant lines matched with sensational performance, and thanks to its generous boot space and practical airy comfortable cabin, its talents were more useful than most of the Supercars of the era.
The alloy body shell, with composite panels, sat on a steel-tube framed chassis and was powered by an all-new 5.5-litre V12 engine producing ~442BHP. The front engine - transaxle gearbox - rear wheel drive layout provided a perfectly balanced weight ratio, making the 456 GT a usable everyday supercar with an element of exclusivity.
Believed to be just one of a handful of RHD "Azzurro Blue" 456 GTs in the UK, this well-presented 1998 car with a tan leather interior reads just ~21,354 miles on the clock, and comes to market from ~26 year ownership. It comes with Ferrari and Ferrari specialist servicing history, owner's wallet, Ferrari tool kit case, two keys and an MOT to May 2025.

Hi Robert
Many thanks for the answers.
Hi, as stated the car was imported by de Stefano specialist cars and registered new by them in June 98, and PDI by Lancaster Ferrari. I subsequently purchased the car as first owner. Re corrosion of sill cover plates, all I can state is that no such issues were raised at mot, the latest of which was conducted in June of this year. Regards, Robert
Hi, Just to confirm you bought the car new? or when it was imported? Also underside has some corrosion behind the sill cover/plates by the looks of it, has it ever been looked at for appraisal of corrosion on the underside?
HI, I have copied receipt across to TC, so shd be okay to view soon. R
Hi Robert – many thanks for your reply – could you please ask Tradeclassics to post the April 24 bill and health check from Shiltech as it doesn’t appear currently , thanks M

Hi, the old 456 issue. Secondary seals fitted yonks ago. Any wind noise apparent only well over legal limit. No sticky issues. Air con works fine. It never had remote locking. I believe floors and sills were attended to at time as it has never been an issue since. Leaks rectified by Shiltech at last major service, as such not a drip on garage floor. No need to apologise, feel free to ask whatever. R

Hello – some questions if I may :
How’s the car for wind noise from the door seals ?
I’d the car suffering from any sticky buttons and leather issues on the dash , roof lining / parcel shelf etc ?
Does the air conditioning blow cold ?
I don’t see the remote locking boxes with the keys ?
I note from the MOT history it advises corrosion to floors and sills (2015) has this been addressed ?
Same question for advised oil leak?
Apologies for the amount of questions .
Regards
M
