Introduction
Isaac Waas
An open-top masterpiece that captures the essence of Italian luxury and high-octane performance.
The 360 Spider is a proper mid-engined convertible sports car - it replaced the 355, and was a completely new design both inside and out.
Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce the entirely redesigned, all-aluminium space-frame chassis, ~40% stiffer than its predecessor. The Pininfarina body design was also ~28% lighter despite a ~10% increase in overall dimensions. Along with a lightweight frame, the revised model is one of the most captivating designs. The 3.6L V8 engine generates a power output of ~395 BHP and achieves a 0-62 MPH time of ~4.5 seconds.
The Spider version of the Ferrari 360 features a fabric hood that folds down in ~20 seconds and is hidden under a rear deck with twin ‘speed humps’ that also conceal the roll-over hoops. The Ferrari includes some great features such as a Tubi sports exhaust, Challenge Stradale front bumper, Ferrari toolkit, Ferrari battery charger, car cover, and three key fobs.
This example currently shows just over ~41k miles from new, comes fresh from ~17 years ownership, recent MOT, and a service from July 2024 including cam belts. With just 2 former keepers, and in its convertible form with the 6-speed manual gearbox, it's a proper drivers' car.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Not the answer I was looking for.
Running out of time. These are important questions that remain unanswered.
Like I said Tim, you had 2 weeks to ask these and your questions started a day or more ago. You should have asked them all back then, or requested a viewing like others did. Adam
Can you tell me when the brakes were last replaced?
Can you tell when the clutch was replaced? Thank you for your previous reply.
Ausjag, It’s great you’re interested in the car / bidding / but these are last minute questions that you should have really been asked a few days ago when you last commented – all paperwork has been photographed and I see reference to the clutch here:

Cheers Adam
It’s a worry when the owner does not answer important questions.
Hi, not in this case, please see the thorough response from Paul below. Cheers, Adam
Can you clarify the car’s accident history?
Can you confirm all advisories were done during each service?
Can you identify the brown mark on the bottom of the driver’s door frame, near the rubber. Is that rust?
is there a quote to replace the roof lining? Thanks Tim
Hi sorry for late reply didn’t know i had any questions until classic auctions sent me a whats app
in the 17 years i have had the car its only had one minor accident somebody reversed into the passenger door The car was repaired by Ferrari they fitted a brand new door despite the damage been minimal this was about 10 years ago
Not sure what you mean about brown mark there is no rust on my car
anything that needed to be done for test was done if your referring to the rose joints its very common on these cars to have slight movement after 2 or 3 years they develop this issue my car has not changed in 17 years the play is so slight it doesn’t justify changing ( resetting all the geometry ) when it will return in in a couple of years the garage that test my car are very experienced with race cars etc if they needed replacing they would of done so 100% on that final point tire wear tells you all you need to know about the car geometry if anything is out the tires will wear unevenly my tires wear perfect
My brother had a Ferrari 430 which is the same body shell and running gear as the 360 his was exactly the same ..
Again the 360 and the 430 use exactly the same roof and both have the same issues the roof gets wear marks on it they all do unless you never put the roof down i believe there are companies that offer aftermarket complete new recover service for around 3k
remember the car is 22 years old but is in immaculate condition the close up pictures are misleading it makes roof look very blotchy and faded its not like that with the naked eye if that makes sense
Hope this helps
Hi
Would it be possible for my friend who lives in Yorkshire to view the car during the week before the auction closes
Thanks
Andy
Hi Andy,
We can help arrange a viewing for you, if you could send an email to hello@tradeclassics.com, we just need to do a couple of checks first.
Thanks,
Colin.
