Introduction
Alan Stuart
The California was given a major mechanical overhaul with a new twin-turbocharged V8, the first turbo seen in a Ferrari since the F40, and more modern design that we've become used to from the marque.
Ferrari hit the reset button on the California and created the California T, a very capable and extremely fast "Grand Tourer". After four years of development, Ferrari introduced a new turbocharged engine for the first time in 22 years. The twin-turbocharged V8 offers the driver a whopping ~552BHP, a 70BHP increase from the previous model. This model is equipped with 12% stiffer springs and a 10% quicker steering rack, and the latest magnetorheological dampers to make the journey stiffer or softer when you need it the most.
This very well-equipped California T is coming to auction with just 2 former keepers, low mileage, and more recently owned for the past ~1 year. Take a look in the history and paperwork to see the ~£50,000 worth of factory options on this gorgeous "Giallo Modena" California. Some of important options the discerning buyer looks for include the extended carbon fibre interior trim including the iconic steering wheel with LED indicators, special handling equipment, exterior Scuderia shields and interior prancing horse embroidery on the headrests.
