Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
The very definition of a modern classic, Fiats in-house design team created something very unique.
Launched in 1993, the Fiat Coupe was a revelation in the world of family coupes. With the styling to match the road-holding, the cars inherent talents were reinforced by the inclusion of the ~220BHP 20V Turbo version. The chassis could handle the extra power gifted to the Turbo, which in turn made it one of the best-handling front-wheel-drive cars of its generation. Fiat had gone some way into improving quality and its positive driver feedback and roomy cabin complemented the brutal power available.
The current owner of this 1999 20V Turbo has owned the car since 2005, and this example has been gifted with a genuinely careful ownership profile over that period. With just over ~50K on the clock, this two-owner car is the very definition of a modern classic and presents itself as the perfect opportunity to obtain one of Fiat's most talented cars. It comes with a year's MOT, excellent service history and has seen not much more than ~3,000 miles of use in the last 9 years.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hi Andrew, lovely looking Fiat Coupe, could you tell me if when the speedometer doesn’t work, if it’s mileometer doesn’t either?
Dear Rod,
Thank you for your queries.
The speedometer works when I drive about 20 miles on a dual carriageway or motorway between 35 and 60 mph. It sometimes works during short distances (up to 3 miles) in a 20 mph zone.
Mileometer has always worked.
Thanks, and kind regards,
Victor
Hi Victor, you’re welcome! Whatever lucky charm you have, don’t lose it! Regards Andrew
cambelt, tensioners etc should be changed max 6years or 72k miles, whichever comes soonest..so belt is 16years past its due date! You are VERY lucky it’s not gone as the engine would be severely damaged/written off.
Dear Andrew,
Thank you for the information and observation.
Kind regards,
Victor
So you’ve had it since 2005 and haven’t changed the cambelt, aux belt and waterpump once?? Disaster waiting to happen, you obviously have no idea about maintenance!
Dear Jim,
Thank you kindly for your observations and comment.
Best regards,
Victor
hi when were the cambelts last replaced please?
Dear Andrew, Thanks for your query. I have not replaced the cam belt. Thanks and Kind Regards, Victor
Hi can you tell me if you top the oil up as these cars normally use oil
Dear MUZ123
Yes, the oil level is checked and topped up where necessary by the garage.
Thank you for your query
Kind regards,
Victor

Kind Regards
