Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
One of Jaguar's finest - the MKII 3.8 offers drivers and passengers grace, space, and pace in one classy package - with prices on the rise then arguably now is the time to put one on your list.
The Jaguar MKII was built between '59 and '67 in Coventry, England. It is a fast and very capable saloon offering exactly what Jaguars slogan insisted: grace; space and pace.
The car is powered by the favourable 220bhp 3.8L bulletproof Jaguar XK engine, similar to the unit found in the early E-type, having the same block, crank, connecting rods and pistons, but a different inlet manifold and carburation.
If you're after an investor quality manual 3.8 then we think this is the one for you. This Mk2 has all the right ingredients: original UK RHD car, 3.8L engine, manual with overdrive and a host of provenance including the Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Beautifully finished and restored in its factory period colour of Opalescent Golden Sand, and an engine out mechanical restoration, it's ready for showing this summer.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Dean the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

I can Assure you there is no bubbling on the doors or Any parts of the body work ,The doors and the body didn’t have any rust issues before the Respray . The only rust issues they found were on the underside which were addressed to a very high standard . I Guess it must lighting ,
Good afternoon , very interested in your lovely Jaguar ,
I’m trying not to be nit picky but in the description it states that it had been resprayed which is to be expected but the picture showing the drivers side looking a little alarming but I’m sure it’s a lighting issue .
Can you confirm that the rear drivers door and passenger doors are rot free as the photos give the illusion of extensive bubbling .
Many thanks Andy
Has any welding been done underneath?
Cheers
Yes a new spare wheel well was fitted and inner cills . The old well had a couple of small holes but I didn’t won’t it patched . So there fitted a new one . Any welding has been done to a very high standard . Please check out the photos of the under side . It is as good underneath and it is above .
If you click on history and paper work view all, there are photos of the underside and body work etc . Hope that helps

Hi, is the mileage shown claimed to be correct? Tnx
I have no Documented proof that this is correct. I know the vehicle was stored for over 35 years. And all the normal signs back up the low mileage.
