Introduction
Isaac Wass
What more could you ask for, a quintessential British icon; stunning aesthetics and powerful straight-six engine, it continues to stand tall in both style and performance.
The Jaguar E-Type is an icon in the classic car world, with its long nose hiding a 4.2L engine. Especially in roadster form it has all the ingredients to create a thrilling drive. The E-Type is admired worldwide, gathering fans including the great Enzo Ferrari. Series one prices have skyrocketed in recent years, with the best-of-the-best examples fetching eye-watering money. However, while prices have also risen for series two cars, they still remain relatively affordable. It's not uncommon to see exceptional series two cars with all the provenance being offered at six-figure sums and more. However, as we all know, an asking price and an actual sale price are two totally different things and most of these examples we see remain unsold when they come to auction.
This lovely example comes to the market after ~9 years of UK ownership. Imported from America in 2015 by the vendor, it is said to have only had 2 previous keepers, and presents beautifully to this day.
This listing was written from information supplied by Isaac after meeting Howard the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hello Howard
I can’t see any photos of the floor under the insulation. What state are the floors in?
Regards
Albert
Hi Albert, yes I noticed he hadn’t taken the carpet up but only after he had left. The bit of insulation I have put down purely to make the carpet softer. The floor underneath is good and solid with no rust. On either side there are 2 small drill holes about 4mm which must have been put in either at manufacture or by a previous owner. I have always assumed they are there to let any water that gets in when it rains.
Thanks Howard
