Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
Supercharged pace and comfort with stunning looks - now is the time to investigate!
Possibly the grandest tourer you can buy at this level, the XKR is a perfect example of an increasingly appreciating classic. Its impressive performance, style and finishing are a tribute to the re-invention of Jaguar as the maker of luxury supercars. The XKR convertible was one of the main sellers in the X100 series of the XK range, offering tasteful open-top motoring that not only used the new Supercharged 4.0-litre 32-valve Jaguar AJ-V8 engine, but proved that Jaguar could sell tens of thousands of these premium roadsters without a lapse in quality.
Fully loaded with a full leather interior and walnut veneer, this 2000 XKR Convertible has been cherished by the same owner for 20 years and has been fastidiously maintained. This R-pack model with gold 20” BBS split rims, and uprated suspension is finished in a timeless Titanium Mica Grey colourway. With an excellent body of invoices, MOTs and a regular service schedule, it comes with an MOT to January 2024 and has barely seen 20 miles since its last service.
This listing was written from information supplied by Darren after meeting Dudley the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Does the Sat Nav work ?
Hi Dudley. I have been trying to arrange a viewing of the car via Trade Classics for 3 days to no avail. I am very close by (Chobham) so could be there in minutes but have had no response from them. Can you “gee them up” to organise a viewing ?
;Tuesday or Wednesday before 5.00pm latest
Thanks

Trade Classics like you to go through them. They asked me about this and I told them I am away and not back until late Thursday so anytime on Friday IS OK for a viewing. They r a bit slow however please try and make contact withyhem again.
Please ~ Does the Sat Nav work ?
Trade Classics have suggested you email them direct.
Thank you I’ve just sent them an email, so hopefully that’ll get arranged
Thank you for your interest. Sorry but I need to contact Trade Classics before a viewing is allowed so they can vet the enquiry. You can contact them direct also.
Hello Dudley
I’ve just been looking at your lovely Jaguar and was wondering if it would be possible for me to swing by tomorrow morning and take a look in person please, if that suits you?
I’m only in Camberley, so quite local to Woking.
Thank you so much.

Sat Nav work ?
Hi, it looks like there is funny jump on the mot mileage 2020 showing 59k
I have most of the MOT bills and cannot see any jump in the mileage if there is I can confirm it’s a mistake the current mileage is 53714 genuine.
Please can you advise what work was carried out with the £5000 recent spend
Check headlights not working and repair.
Thanks for your enquiry. Detailed breakdown costs should be shown on listing. The following is a brief review: New spark plugs, Ignition Coil, replace power steering fluid.
Replace both fuel pumps and test.
Replace speed sensors.
Replace transmission fluid and related seals and filters.
General service.
Replaced all tyres in Feb’23.
Hello. Have the chain tensioners and guides ever been changed on the engine (there was a problem with these on early 4L engines)?
Have the floors been replaced/repaired as they usually rust out!
Thank you for your enquiry. The chain tensioners have not been replaced since I’ve owned the car. To my knowledge the manufacturer changed all models from plastic to metal at the beginning of the year 2000 this model was registered November 2000 you will have to draw your own conclusion. The floor trays have never been replaced in my ownership.
