Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
A luxurious, refined and sporting drive; the XKR-S has genuine pedigree.
Jaguar's ultimate development of their successful X100 XK Grand Tourer arrived in the form of the XKR-S. The original XK hit the market in 1996 as a replacement for the long-toothed XJS. Needless to say, it was received with critical acclaim and placed Jaguar as a maker of innovative, comfortable and enjoyable to drive machines. 2005 heralded the launch of the XKR-S, now powered by the improved, more powerful supercharged variation of the 4.2-litre AJ34, it not only unleashed ~400BHP but those lovely people at Browns Lane chose to remove the electronic speed limiter, so in theory, the car could reach ~174MPH. To differentiate the XKR-S from the less potent versions, a whole raft of improvements became available, to complement the limited series with unique exterior and interior options. The braking was improved by the addition of cross-drilled Brembo brake discs, firmer dampers and lowered springs, anti-roll bars as well as several other cosmetic differences to mark out the limited ~200 car production run.
This car comes to market from ~4 year ownership, with just 2 previous keepers, and is finished in a metallic "Satin Silver" colourway, with a charcoal leather interior and a carbon fibre facia. It comes with Jaguar and independent service history, 2 keys and an MOT to November 2024.

Good Morning LEA, I haven’t any paperwork for the works done. They seem to have been both thorough and comprehensive as there have been no MOT concerns for the last 7 years, 2019 merely notes welding has been done. Interestingly I did meet the previous owner earlier this year, he spoke about how he sold it for the usual ‘lack of use’ reason, and that he worked in a body shop! I bought the car from highly rated Jaguar specialist Beechdown Garage in Devon after phoning South West Prestige, the only garage to have worked on the car after 11 visits to H A Fox, they confirmed that the previous owner has kept good car of the car. & 2019 Chassis corrosion
Hello Neil
Im aware these X100’s suffer from corrosion.
I see in the MOT history online using the reg number from 2013, 14 , 15 & 2016 the vehicle suffered from underside corrosions listed as “Dangerous” holes in the floor. Would you pls be kind enough to elaborate on the repairs, how extensive and who by and do you have the invoices! I can’t see them in the files. Pictures would be helpful too. Great cars but after owning a fair few including 6 XKR-S I’m aware of importance of the undercarriages condition.
Kindest Regards
Daniel.
