Introduction
Alan Stuart
Elegant and dazzling, this Ultimate Black example is extremely powerful with its 5 litres supercharged V8 and aerodynamic body.
A stunningly beautiful car, the Jaguar XK8 first hit the world stage at the Geneva Motor Show in 1996. The Fergus Pollock styled sports car held true to tradition and reflected a modern take on Jaguar sports cars of the past with more than a nod to the E-Type. Available in convertible or coupe form, 91,406 cars were produced with many exported to the US market.
Sharing a platform with the Aston Martin DB7, the XK8 replaced the long running XJS range.
This 2009 facelift was introduced with minor alterations to the front and rear lights, as well as bumper design, along with a brand new 5.0L V8 under the hood, with this being an 'R', a supercharger is also installed. It was optioned with cream leather interior which pairs well with the 'Ultimate Black' paintwork.
This lovely example is coming to market fresh after 4.5 years of ownership with Jeff.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Alan after meeting Jeff the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Hi Jeff
It’s a bit rough underneath has it lived near the sea at some point?
Thanks for this comment. The underneath has been inspected on a regular basis and no significant damage has been found. As far as I am aware, this car has never lived by the sea. The previous owner was based in London.
Hi Jeff
So it hasn’t been serviced since 2017? Shouldn’t it be every year regardless of mileage?
Thanks for this comment.
You will see that all the bills for servicing are included on the web site and Trade Classics have shown the dates etc in the service history section. It has also been confirmed in the text that the service book will be brought up to date by the serviceing garage for the last 4.5 years,if required by the purchaser. I trust this clarifies the situation for you.
