Introduction
Darren Rungasamy
A worthy successor to Jaguar's sporty heritage, it soothes and thrills at the same time.
Hitting the market in 2006, Jaguar's remarkable return to form was completed by the introduction of the supercharged XKR a year later. You could be forgiven to assume that the new 'X150' XK series was simply an update of the previous generation of cars, but Jaguar redeveloped the XK from the ground up. Characterised by its aluminium construction and superior technology, it allowed the XKR to retain its strength - vital for an open car, but its inherent lightness offered a genuine driving thrill with no lapse in quality or reliability.
This is one of the later 4.2-litre V8 XKR cabriolets, and also one of the last models with the walnut veneer option. Coming to market from ~6 year ownership, this crystal blue soft-top tourer with a cream leather interior comes with great service history and an MOT to July 2023.
