We really like this example, owned by Jaguar at the very start of its life, it was purchased and treasured by the previous owner for the previous 9 and a half years, it has been really well kept and serviced over those years, the main dealer every time - you know this car hasn't been looked after.

As most of our dedicated followers know, we only source the very best and unique cars we can from like-minded private collectors and enthusiasts. However, recently we opened up our service to trusted classic and performance specialists. Scott is one of those verified specialists and we're glad to be working with him - he has an eye for detail and we love the cars he finds.

5.0L V8, overflowing in comfort, power, luxury. This car will make the perfect performance car for those long country crossing tours. It's a car that is not only reliable looks and drives great too.

Best colour choice, check - 20" Nevis wheels, check - Top of the line R spec'd, check. Everything you'd want in a GT Coupé.

Wheels and Tyres

The car has its original sporty 20" Nevis wheels that are wrapped in Dunlop tyres with excellent tread - we love the sporty look of the XKR.

The wheels are in excellent condition - please take a look at the photos to see for yourself.

Bodywork

As you would expect from a top of the range Jaguar, all the bodywork is in excellent condition, upon inspection we noticed some very minor corrosion on the roof and small mark the rear boot lid that you'll see within the images.

On our inspection shut lines across all the panels are tight and even as you'd expect, and no dents etc observed.

Paint

Finished in a lovely Lunar Gray, a lovely choice of paint which makes the car look very modern. On inspection of the car, the paint is even in finish and colour.

While viewing the car we noticed some very light stone chipping and very light lacquer pealing on the boot lid, please have a look at the images to see the condition of the paint in more detail.

Glass and Trim

All in great condition with no issues - as you would expect from a modern classic Jag.

Everything you would expect from Jaguar, The XKR is oozing out quality and comfort.

Seats and Carpets

No expense spared inside this luxurious Jaguar coupé interior - piano black trim with cream leather interior is a real classy sight to see. Arrive at any destination in style.

Upon inspection, the seats and carpets are in good condition, in line with its age and millage.

Dashboard

Black dials with white instruments and a digital central speedo displays all the driving information you'd require.

The instrument panel is crisp and clearly legible.

All buttons are clean, and Scott tells us all the dials are functioning as expected.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

An upgraded R steering wheel, fitted on this fine example puts you at the forefront of this car. The steering wheel is fitted with many options to adjust your driving style.

Both in very good condition and look to be in line with the mileage and age of the car.

Mechanics

The naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 takes you up to 60mph in under 4.6s, what more could you want from a sporty coupé.

Engine and Gearbox

Featuring the best engine configuration you could possibly choose, a jaw-dropping naturally aspirated 5.0L Jaguar AJ Gen III V8.

This engine will take you from zero to the national speed limit within 4.6s - which outputs a sensational sound meanwhile.

Suspension and Brakes

Fitted with active dampers, this model is sharp and precise in the corners, but a proper performance car on the straights.

With the car having been regularly serviced throughout its life, the suspension and brakes have always been tended to when needed e.g. brake fluid and safety checks.

The Drive

A real sporty Jaguar, the XKR offers you the ability to make up time in a comfortable and refined environment.

Multiple driving modes to choose from, that lets you access the full power of the 5.0L a fingertip away.

Not short on electric features, fully electric seats, entertainment system, cruise control, all the goodies you would expect from a top-range modern Jaguar.
