Introduction
Kevin Lou Jacutan
Arguably Lotus' most iconic car offers serious pace and outstanding handling - for its price, it's in a class of its own.
The Lotus Elise is a famous rear-wheel drive, mid-engined roadster, which was first conceived in 1994 and released to the public in '96.
The car features a fiberglass body shell that is bonded to the aluminum chassis - this provides a very rigid platform for the suspension, yet keeps costs and weight down. Over its 25 years of production, Lotus hasn't changed this design principle, as it works so well. Named Elise after 'Elisa Artioli', the granddaughter of Romano Artioli, chairman of Bugatti and Lotus at the time of launch.
This is a very special Elise as it was specifically ordered as a bespoke car straight from the factory. It has lightweight forged alloys, front spotlights, Bilstein shocks, lightweight uprated sports seats, four point harnesses, upgraded air box and filter, sports exhaust, ceramics and paint protection film and black decals.
In the spirit of Lotus principles, this car has been prepared to minimise weight and maximise performance - this is a true and pure Elise and importantly the car has always been garaged and never tracked.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hello Marino,
Well I can only tell you I have enjoyed every minute of owning this car from the day I saw it. You could well be auctioning that M4 very soon! Ha!
Now this paint protection film- I’m very sorry I don’t know the brand as it was on the car when I bought it. It shows no signs of deterioration and is on the front nose (up to wheel arches), parts of the bonnet, wingmirrors and sides under the air intakes. As you can see from the photographs it is pretty much invisible but really useful. I don’t think you’ll need to replace it at all.
There is also a ‘Williams Ceramic Coat’ emblem in the windscreen and I am assuming that is a treatment applied to the body but I know nothing more than that.
Many thanks for your interest it will be a super car for the best bidder I have no doubt.
Cheers anything else please ask,
Jon.
Hi Jon, heavens, this is a tempter! I have sold through TC before, and might auction my M4 CS if I win this! Could you please confirm more details re the PPF, when it was applied and which brand, is it full coverage? I have matte Expel on mine, it works a treat! Slightly concerned that if it was applied from new the film might need replacing soon, thanks Marino
Hi Jonathan,
Will the Elise be put through an MOT prior to sale with the current one ending on the 14th of June?
Thanks
Darren
Hi Darren,
Yes I will get the car serviced with an MOT before the sale.
I’ll be so sad taking it for it’s last service!
Cheers, Jon.
