Introduction
Isaac Wass
The perfect mix of Italian styling and performance from two of the biggest names in the world of luxury sports cars.
The 4200 GT was released to the public in 2001 at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The first model unveiled was the Spyder, with the coupe following on at the Detroit Auto Show in 2002. Both models were evolutions of the earlier 3200GT. The Spyder, such as the one we have here, is a 2 seater convertible grand tourer with electronic folding roof that stows away in around 30 seconds. As you would expect, the Ferrari/Maserati designed F136 V8 is a fantastic engine to power the Spyder along. Coupled with the F1 style gearbox, the Spyder features the top drawer performance synonymous with the marques reputation.
This particular example comes to us from ~5 year ownership, stored in a dehumidified garage and never driven it in the wet. It presents in very good condition in an attractive and smart "Nero Carbonio" over cream leather interior.
