Introduction
Tom Valle
Four-seater practicality with a red-blooded beating heart.
Since the acquisition by Ferrari, Maserati saw a positive move towards establishing a vastly improved aspect to build quality, resulting in Maserati's upward sales fortunes. With such a notable merger, its only natural that there is a certain commonality in parts, most notably engines, but again, this couldn’t be considered a bad thing if you have Ferrari as a parent.
It all started in 1998 with the 3200 GT, now recognised as the first of the modern Maseratis. With the successive 4200 GT being seen as the biggest step to ditch the last connection to the old company, Maserati finally had a product to rival Porsche. The 4.2-litre engine had been developed by Ferrari and Maserati was subject to being first in line to be powered by the new F136 R 390 bhp V8 engine. The car continued to be developed, changing its model name to the Coupe in 2002 following a hefty revamp. Created to comfortably seat four adults in a performance package that would simply obliterate most four-seaters on the market. It's stylish, brutally quick, practical and full red-blooded experience of a Grand Turismo Maserati, without the drawbacks that used to dog the trident badge.
This 2003 example is a very well kept example, having the benefit of a excellent service history and evidence of a cherished life. Finished in the desirable Granito Grey Metallic with a red leather interior, this Cambiocorsa version has just over 65,600 miles on the clock and has only covered 5K over the last 5 years. The gearbox has had its F1 hydraulic pump replaced and its clutch was recorded at having over 80% life left during a recent inspection. It has also been subject to a recent service and MOT.

Hi Deepak, Is it possible to view and have a run out in the car this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon? I’m 15 miles from you.
Thanks.
You can come and have a look at the car but can’t take you for drive in the car because of covid issues .
Hmm. Thought that might be a problem. Oh, well.
V5C shows date of first reg as 24/06/03 but DVLA MOT check says 01/01/03. Which is it? Thanks.
I will go with the V5 date as the date of registration. Thanks
