Hey Brendan, Adam here and Brian in on the phone dictating the answers to me. We’ve included all the photos / videos we have on the listing. Sadly there’s no time now to get additional photos. However, Brian has assured us all the points you mention are good / solid and rust free. He’s also prepared to reimburse any TC Buyer’s Premium if you win the car, get there and see issues in these areas. This is not something we’ve ever done before, but Brian is confident with the car and this is an extra clause just for this sale.

Is the paintwork totally original please? This model suffered bulkhead corrosion and, from memory, centred around drainage points; has this one been inspected in the offending area? Thanks
Hey Curlywoggles – so I’m on the phone now to Brian as he’s just got back from holiday and not too good with computers. So I’m helping and he’s dictating the answer to me now…. here they are:
1. I haven’t owned the car from new so can’t say 100% sure if it is original paint. But I have been told by people in the past and the previous owner that the car had not had any bodywork done. I was also told by the previous owner that the car hadn’t been out in the rain.
2. I’ve never had a check of the baulkhead done with a boroscope, however, the engineer I know that has done the last two MOTs said there was no rot at all and one of the best cars he seen in that area.
Just to say, I’m very confident with the car and sure the usual hotspots are all good. I’m so confident that I’m even prepared to pay you back the Trade Classics Buyer’s Premium if you are the winning bidder and come along and collect the car but you’re not happy with it for any reason above, i.e. baulkhead / floor pans / rear boot floor.
Adam here: I’m happy with this assurance from Brian, however, this is a sub clause between the two of you, i.e. Brian the seller and the winning bidder. Brian will be responsible for paying you the value of the Buyer’s Premium on the winning bid.
