Designed without regard for cost, the W140 S-Class came to us in 1991, firstly as the luxurious saloon, followed later with the addition of the sleek coupe. The S-Class Coupe is somewhat of a rare beast, with only 26,022 produced between 1992 and 1999. Even though it was one of the first Mercedes to use CFC-free plastics and refrigerant for the air-conditioning, the car came under a cloud with people complaining that nobody needed a massive 5.0 litre V8 408bhp two-door coupe. It even came under protest from Greenpeace at the Sindelfingen plant.
With so few produced, it has turned them into a desirable luxury coupe for a fraction of the cost of the new price. So what's not to like about the model? Nothing!. It comes loaded with goodies, comfortable, powerful V8, and the styling is superb thanks to the pillarless format and double glazing!

Ok well the vehicles were in my garage so I left Paul to just carry on as I had to go out so would of obviously had to move the cars. Put them un situ for the pics. / videos etc
The vehicles are as u see them with no issues at all. Very rare birds and a pleasure to own.
I’m only selling as I’m putting money towards a 28 k double glazing bill otherwise I’d keep

Not sure what you mean
I didn’t do the testing that was done by the chap who spent the day going over both cars like a fine tooth comb.
So I can’t help you with that apart from not sure what the issue could be if I’m honest as both vehicles are outstanding and drive without fault as there is no hiding place when these guys assess the cars

Thanks. I was going by the video that shows car being started then driven on road. I assumed person in video is owner. Both videos the person said its a cols start but when he started vehicle you could see temp gauge jump up to show it was not cold start so was puzzled why he would have said he is starting from cold…
When you do a cold start the temperature gauge shows that engine is not cold even the slightest. I noticed the same on your 560SEL and its making me wonder why?
