The fourth-generation W220 first appeared in 1999 and visually offered a more rounded shape, with the usual focus on elegance and style. Kitted with a long list of modern safety features, the car was also fitted with 'Airmatic' suspension which at the time was unrivalled for comfort.

I’m sorry but I can’t recall, but likely a soft drink. Split, can’t recall that either.

Due to being asthmatic, the air conditioner was not used as this causes the asthma to get worse. You will need to get it re-gased at a garage – there is nothing wrong with it otherwise.

Thank you.Do you know what caused the staining to the driver’s seat and the split to the plastic at the side?
Being asthmatic, this is something that we don’t like to use for this condition. It was working when bought and all that is needed is to get the gas refilled at a garage.
