Introduction
Tom Brett
Around 2000 were sold to the UK market in collaboration with the famous Mary Quant.
In 1988, Quant designed the interior of the Mini for a limited edition version. It features black-and-white striped seats with red trimming. The seatbelts are red, and the driving and passenger seats had Quant's signature on the upper left quadrant. The steering-wheel had Quant's signature daisy, and the bonnet badge had "Mary Quant" written over the signature name. The headlight housings, wheel arches, door handles and bumpers were all "nimbus grey", rather than the more common chrome or black finishes.
The Mini looks to be in immaculate condition and we cannot wait to find it a new loving owner.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Dee, the owner's daughter, having photographed the vehicle.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
What was your reserve price on this car? Many thanks. John
Hi John,
Best to give us a call and we will try to negotiate a deal for you, quite a few people we are talking to and it’s first come first served.
Best,
Kulraj
Hi I see the reserve wasn’t met. Are you available for a chat about the car
Hey – sure thing. It was near. If you drop us an email to hello@tradeclassics.com then we’ll pic it up tomorrow (it’s late now and need to leave the office :-). Cheers
Why does the countdown clock restart from 3 minutes after a bid has been submitted?
If someone bids in the last 1 min then it extends by 1 min. To give people time to rebid so people don’t snipe. Like a traditional auction.
What an outstanding example. My wife is always wanting one and if I was ever to buy one this is the chance now. I will certainly be bidding. If I’m unlucky then I wish you all the very best.
Hi!
I had one of these minis as my first ever car until someone drove into me and wrote my car off! I was deverstated and completely heart broken and never got over the loss of the car.
Would I be able to see the car at all before the auction is over?
That shouldn’t be a problem. It’s my mum who’s selling. I’ll forward your message and she’ll be in touch.
Hi Alex. My Mum says you can view the car any time to suit you. Feel free to give her a call on 0121 608 5355 (ask for Ruth).
You’ll have to get your skates on Alex, the auction ends tomorrow at 8PM! Best, Kulraj
