Introduction
Glyn Parry
Iconic, charming, fun and such an enjoyable drive. The Mini Cooper is a car that holds a special place in many people's hearts.
The car that was built for the people, a car that is extremely versatile and practical for day-to-day motoring while being able to deliver in racing with its go-cart-like handling.
From launch, the Mini was a huge success, 5.4 million Minis were bought over the 41 years of production, and it still remains the best-selling British car of all time. Standing out from the crowd was never an issue with the choice between so many different models and editions produced across the years.
This Rover Mini Cooper (Mark VI) is a charming example of the iconic British classic, well cared-for over its years and presented in very smart condition. Powered by the 1,275cc fuel-injected A-Series engine which drives the front wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox. It comes to market from ~2 year ownership, and was imported in to the UK from Japan in August 2020. The car has a fresh MOT valid until May 2024 and has had its engine oil, oil filter and battery changed as well as a new catalytic converter, back box and new rear brake shoes replaced within the last year.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Sorry, the reason for selling.
We had a baby girl in January, which means I have to let the mini go and get a car that is a little more baby friendly and can fit a pram in it!
Cheers Carl looks a nice car anything that you can think of that really needs addressing.
In terms of running, no, nothing major just general looking after as she drives great. I live in Northampton and have done Cornwall, Cardiff, Isle of White, Felixstowe and Silverstone Classic with her and she’s been amazing through the lot.
The air con needs a re-gas but I had the actual pump/motor fixed last year.
One of the sportspack arches needs addressing due to a split from the previous owner doing a screw too tight. Then just any other personal choices that the new owner might want to make, such as nicer wheels or other features.
But she’s ready to go and in pretty good shape.
Hi,
The car was given a full service and oil change in March, the leak is a really minor one and something that often crops up with old minis.
The play in the steering rack, that’s actually just play in one of the joints and my local mini specialist advised me it was really minor and to leave it. It has been through 2 Mots with the same advisory and has not gotten any worse. I had some work done in 2022 to sort out the steering and replaced one of the arm bars, she has driven nice and true ever since.
The wood underneath, well I’m short! I used the wood to try and firm up under the seat so it sit up a bit higher. I’ll be removing that before it goes, as it was a bit needed the seats are fine for someone who isn’t 5″1!
P.S. is the oil leak got any worse.
Let me know if you have any more questions ?
