Introduction
Alan Stuart
An original example of the high-revving, high tech, Japanese pocket rocket - introducing the Nissan 200SX.
Also referred to as the Silvia, the S15 version added sleek styling to an already highly strung, performance car. The 200SX quickly came highly sought after in the tuning and drifting communities for its tunable four-cylinder engine and ability to go sideways with little effort.
The S15 offers the driver a sleek coupe with responsive handling, a twin air-duct grille and refined power unit giving drivers a taste of its bigger brother, the Skyline Supercar. This is a Spec-S variant, offering the new custodian a 4-speed Automatic transmission - it's code is stamped SR20DE meaning it's the non-turbo variant.
Jack is bringing this lovely low mileage un-modified example to auction, finished in the attractive 'Brilliant Blue' over Jersey interior. His dad imported the car from Hong Kong back in 2002, and has maintained its condition very well over the years.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Alan after meeting Jack the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Just noticed that the description says about the car being a 2.0 Turbo engine and see that the car chassis plate is stamped SR20DE which is the Non Turbo variant also the paperwork says SR20DE
The Turbo model is a SR20DET code and should have “turbo intercooler” written on top of Cam Cover
So the car you are selling appears to be mis described as a Turbo model and if its 163 bhp its the non Turbo model
Hey James – good spot! We got this one wrong. We had a lot of people say the same thing overnight too via direct messages to us. Thanks for taking the time to correct us. I’ve updated the listing to say non-turbo and removed the 4-pot things too. So hopefully should all be correct now. Thanks again 🙂
Hi what are the marks on the rear boot lid.
Hello, as noted in the Exterior/Bodywork section there are 4 small holes on the rear boot lid. Previously a 3rd party spoiler had been fitted here when the car was auctioned to my dad. He decided he preferred the shape of the car without the spoiler so he removed it and placed some adhesive tape to cover them, which has kept it sealed/watertight for many years. You could have a professional fill these in if you desired, or add another spoiler (we no longer have the spoiler)
