Meet the owner

I had many great trips planned in the car, but unfortunately it's just not getting the use that it once had.

Andrew has recently sold his live-on-boat in order to purchase a house and as part of the sale of the boat he accepted this replica as part exchange.

Andrew had plans to keep the car and use it for weekends away during his retirement, however, circumstances have since changed and he is now looking for a new custodian to look after the car.

Exterior

The fearsome and famed car represents an unmissable '60s sports car with its curvaceous body.

Wheels and Tyres

The car is fitted with 15" gloss black wheels, featuring a polished lip and BF Goodrich tyres which gives it that muscle look.

The wheels look in excellent condition along with the BF Goodrich Radial T/A tyres and they appear to have a great amount of tread left on them and no signs of cracking.

Bodywork

The car features a lightweight fibreglass body shell, which looks in great condition throughout - all the panel gaps appear straight with both doors closing and opening with ease, as you would expect from a well cared for example.

Paint

Finished in a vibrant Red, it's a great colour for the body shape and really catches the eye no matter where you drive.

The paintwork looks really good on this example, even in coverage and colour across each panel.

When getting really close to the body we noticed the smallest area of lacquer peel around the top of the driver's door and stone chips on the front bumper.

Glass and Trim

The glass looks in great condition across the car, along with the trim.

All the window rubbers and seals appear tight with no signs of wear or degrading. The brightwork, also matches the rest of the car, i.e. in great condition throughout. The same can be said for the tonneau cover and the hood too.

A great place to sit with the curvaceous bonnet stretching ahead of you.

Seats and Carpets

Comfortable and cozy cream leather seats awaits you in this example. Both seats are in great condition for the age and mileage and show very little signs of wear.

The driver's seat shows some very tiny black marks and we're sure with a little bit of attention it could be rectified.

The carpets appears in line with the rest of the car, i.e. in great condition throughout with just the driver's floor mat showing a little wear in the normal heal position.

Dashboard

The dashboard presents in excellent condition and the colour matching cream leather pairs so well with the vibrant red.

The Smiths dials, controls, clock, and switches are in good condition, and all are said to be functional by the owner.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick

The wooden steering wheel is in excellent condition on this example with no issues with wear - both the steering wheel and gearstick match the high standard of which the rest of the interior is in.

Engine and Gearbox

The car is fitted with a Ford 2.8L Cologne V6 engine, which not only drives great but also sounds the part too.

The engine bay is presented very well with lots of work carried out to keep it in the condition you see today.

We captured a cold start, which can be seen in the mechanical video - the car starts first time without any fuss.

Suspension and Brakes

Andrew reports the car driving very well, with the suspension offering a firm and enjoyable ride.

Andrew also tells us that the brakes work really well too - a must on a car like this.

The Drive

Based on a '60s sports car that was renowned for its performance and handling on track - a proper driving experience.

Andrew loves getting the car out occasionally on the weekends and going for a thrilling drive.

Truly a ride you need to experience to fully appreciate.

Electrics and Other

The electrical aspects of the car are said to all be up to scratch and fully working.

The car has been said to have spent all of its life garaged, with regular valeting.

A rare chance to own a replica UK RHD car with low mileage and in excellent condition throughout - ready to show this summer.

The car is sold with very little history due to a previous owner buying the car at a liquidation auction. However, the car is sold with a great number of MOT certificates to help verify the mileage.
