Introduction
Glyn Parry
A triumph of both form and function – the 911 defines the sports car like no other.
Introduced in 1997 and internally designated the 996, this generation was manufactured for 9 years before being replaced by the 997 in 2004. The 996 broke new ground for Porsche with a water-cooled engine and the first new platform since the original 911. The car also offered sleeker body styling, a completely redesigned interior and reshaped “fried egg” headlights, so called as a result of their shape and the incorporation of the amber indicator lenses, later revised to try and get the purists back on board.
For Porsche enthusiasts the 911 knows no equal and this C4S is a superb example. Featuring the wider body shared with the Turbo, all wheel drive, the later revised headlights and the iconic rear reflector designComing to auction with a comprehensive main dealer and specialist service history, it’s been cherished and enjoyed by the same family for the last 9 years. Great bodywork, stunning "Arctic Silver" paintwork over black leather interior and a history file that demonstrates diligent and thoughtful ownership this is a car that is ready to be enjoyed.
