Introduction
Paul Wright
German engineering, mid-engined, open-top motoring – what could be a better mix?
The Porsche Boxster S carries forward Porsche’s rich history of crafting world-class sports cars. Introduced in the late 1990s, the Boxster brought Porsche's signature performance to a more accessible roadster format while paying homage to the iconic mid-engine layout of classic models like the Porsche 550 Spyder. The Boxster S, however, elevated this platform, standing out for its enhanced power and sportier features, making it a serious contender among Porsche’s line-up.
What makes the Boxster S truly stand out is how it delivers Porsche’s signature driving dynamics in a convertible package, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy the road with the top down. With a lightweight chassis, a near-perfect weight distribution, and features like Porsche Stability Management (PSM), it offers an engaging and exhilarating experience while retaining the everyday practicality and style that Porsche is known for.
Coming to market from ~3 year ownership, this lovely example was purchased to add to the vendor's collection purely because of its condition, spec, and low mileage. It has just 2 former keepers registered, and a solid servicing record when the car was in active use, before becoming more of a collectors item. It comes with a fresh MOT valid until 23.04.2026.
This listing was written from information supplied by Paul after meeting Rob the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Ask Owner
If I end up owning this great car, I will definitely upgrade the IMS bearing and have a full service.. I may request to come and have a view whilst I remain as a bidder, but closer to the end date if possible, depending on your availability?
Hi – has the RMS (rear main seal) and IMS (intermediate shaft) ever received attention or been updated? These as you know can be a problem that worries many owners.
Hello John
Hope you are ok , the honest answer is I don’t know ! As you can see from the millage in our ownership the car has covered very little miles as it is in a collection , as you can see from the SH it has been maintained to a very high standard absolutely no leaks drips etc and no rain use in mine and previous ownership. It even has a full set of ignition coils in the boot plus a new set of windscreen wipers. ( just shows the level maintained too)Hope this helps and please feel free to request to view if you wish. Hi Rob – thanks. Looking at the service history it seems that it was last given a garage service in 2019, with a receipt for oil and filter in 2021. Is that correct? I know that the low mileage covered maybe doesn’t justify the costs of servicing
Hi John ,Honestly that’s exactly the case its sat next to a few Porsches on a battery conditioner having a regular weekly start and the odd run out , It still has some original manufacture stickers on the anti role bar , I am a little bias of course but this is an exceptional example that does pain me to part with.Rob
