Rather more than just a badge-engineering special, the car was notable for being fitted with several unique features, including a 25bhp power hike over the standard Carrera. In addition to the X51 power kit, it was fitted with the Turbo front end, Turbo radiators, limited slip differential, sport suspension and polished 5-spoke alloy wheels.

Did Tuthill report on the oil quality during the last service?

Hi, I’m not a mechanic but when the vehicle goes for a service I trust the garage to do what is necessary.
As far as Tuthills are concerned, I spent almost £12k with them and I’m confident that the oil is exactly how it should be. I’m sure the car is how you would like to find it. For me it was a keeper but now with disability it has to go. If you do get it look after it, it’s a great investment.
