Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
The world's greatest sportscar - the 996 is becoming more desirable by the day, and this manual, facelift, top of the line 4S is the one to have.
The 996 911 replaced the 993 in '97 with a more curvaceous, spacious, and aerodynamic body, the car saw the introduction of a new rear water-cooled engine - This example is fitted with the larger 3.6-litre offering the driver 350bhp of naturally aspirated goodness to tap into.
Just four years later after its release, the new model 996.2 was launched. The newly designed headlights which were more similar to the turbo version car as opposed to the entry-level Boxster kept the diehard Porsche owners happy, and more importantly, revised steering, suspension and interior upgrades including a rear glass window in the convertible models.
Coming to market from 10 years ownership, this 911 only shows ~65,500 miles, finished in "Arctic Silver" over grey leather interior, and in cabriolet form, it's coming to market just in time for the fair weather.

Hello Paul
Can you advise if rear have been renewed/changed as per MOT advisory
Hi
Apologies for the delay I’ve been in a no signal area
Rear tyres are as mot tread varies between 3.3 and 4.6 mm, I’m not sure why the advise note existed
Hi Paul also have you ever had a boor wear borescope inspection done when you brought it ? As these cars suffer extremely badly with this condition it’s a £10000 repair +vat regards Dan
Hi Paul lovely car I’ve spent some time looking at the history and can’t find any evidence of the ims bearing haven been done which I find a little worrying have I missed something or should I just assume it needs doing asap kind regards Dan
Hi Daniel
The IMs bearing hasnt been replaced by us and I havnt any record of previous owners having had it done
Looking up details of this upgrade I note it affects up to 10% of these engines with mileages of up to 200,000 miles , I can’t hear anything and there are no oil drips on garage floor over the 10 years we have owned it
I’m told that cost of replacing it and a new clutch is around £2500 , not at a main dealer
Hope this assists
Regards
Paul
The car had 5 previous owners but we have owned it for the past 10 years, it was allegedly a present for my wife
Hi Paul, can you please tell me how many owners in total?
