We’re stepping up a gear with this competition! This time, the prize is a 2007 Porsche Cayman S—a true driver’s car that combines Porsche’s legendary engineering, style, and performance. With a ~291BHP flat-six engine, this mid-engined coupe punches well above its weight, rivaling even lower-end 911s. Finished in "Arctic Silver" with a black leather interior, it’s clean, well-maintained, and comes with a solid service history. Ready to take the wheel? Stay tuned!
Exterior
A smart exterior, this mid-engined coupe stands out with some nice options from factory.
Wheels and Tyres
This 2007 Porsche Cayman S isn’t just about power—it’s about precision. Sitting on 19” OEM Sport Design alloys in great condition, with only minor marks, it’s equipped with a full set of Pirelli P-Zero tyres for top-tier grip and handling. The tyres all have plenty of even tread, ensuring it’s ready for the road.

Bodywork
A mid-engined monster, it's Porsche for sure, but just that subtle difference and balance to the big end of a 911! The exterior is in excellent condition, with no visible issues. Panel fit is flush with even gaps, and all doors open and close smoothly with fully operational auto-window lifts.

Paint
The "Arctic Silver" paint makes this car look very smart and adds to the sporty appeal. It has an excellent coverage, with a smooth lustre and no hazing. There are a handful of marks noted on the bonnet that can come with age, and a small scuff on the offside front bumper corner, but otherwise, the car presents very smartly.
Both lower rear wing film stone protectors show mild signs of age, but have done a great job of protecting that area.

Glass and Trim
With a spoiler that raises from the rear, details matter on a sports car like this. The car is optioned with Xenon headlamps and rear lenses are free from damage.
All the trim and fittings are neatly presented with no significant marks etc.

Interior
Smart black leather, the cabin is all about the driving experience, some smart options from factory on this car.
Seats and Carpets
With leather sports seats in black, these are just what you'd expect in a sporty Porsche. They are free of issues in the main with nothing more than light creasing on the driver's seat bolster.
The carpets and mats are all in great shape, and both storage areas look good too.

Dashboard
A classic Porsche layout, the rev counter takes centre stage in this Cayman, with white backed dials. The rest of the dashboard and centre console are a smart affair, the switchgear is in good shape and were tested and proven to work. The door cards are in good shape, with the headlining in a tidy state with a few minor marks.

Steering Wheel / Gear Stick
Leather wrapped, with a red stitched centre marker, you'll feel like a race car driver in this! The 6 speed manual gearstick looks great too, and this car is optioned with the short shift (XCZ) option from new. The steering wheel also has multi-function controls for the PCM 2 system.

Mechanics
Manual, mid-engined, rear wheel drive; a proper sports car experience.
Engine and Gearbox
The car is powered by a ~291BHP flat-six that sits just behind you, but importantly, just in front of the rear axle. This gives the car a beautifully balanced feel. A 6 speed manual gearbox with short shift option from factory add to that sports car driving experience.

Suspension and Brakes
With red Porsche brake calipers on all corners, and vented discs, you've got the stopping power at your disposal to keep this car under control.
As mentioned, the mid-engine set-up, coupled to the suspension configuration on this Cayman S give it a balanced feel.

The Drive
The Cayman S is something of a confident daily driver, with plenty of reminders of its sporting prowess - if you won this car, how would you use it!

Electrics and Other
This car is loaded up with over £8,000 worth of optional extras when new, including the PCM 2 Porsche Communication Management, Park Assistant, Xenon headlights, a Bose sound system and it is also equipped with the desirable Sport ShortShift.

History and Paperwork
This car previously has been in ~8 year ownership, just 3 former keepers, and a solid servicing history too - what more do you want for a £4.50 potential win!
First registered at Porsche Newcastle in April 2007, it has seen a regular schedule of servicing. Some of the work on top of servicing in the current ownership include a set of new front discs in 2020, tyres in 2021 and a full water pipe kit in 2022.
The car comes with its full owner's wallet with booklets and 2 keys, and ~a years months MOT.
We’ve conducted our usual seller checks, including photo ID, V5, and also actioned a history check on the vehicle. This is a professional check by HPI that highlights if the car has been previously stolen, recorded as being in an accident, or has any outstanding finance. Note, this does not include a mileage history check. Terms and conditions apply.
