Introduction

More powerful than the convertible Boxster, the Cayman is also ideal for year-round use.
Introduced in 2006, the Porsche Cayman is a two-seat sports car well-known for its striking design and dynamic performance. The mid-engine layout offers exceptional balance and handling. The Cayman's standout feature is its remarkable handling, with precise steering and finely-tuned suspension for a thrilling driving experience. Inside, you can experience a well-appointed cabin with quality materials, supportive seats, and modern technology. The Cayman is positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Porsche 911, making it an attractive choice for those seeking Porsche's performance and prestige.
This lovely 2009 example is a desirable manual version of the Cayman. It comes with a good service history and is finished in the optional colour of "Midnight Blue Pearl", a nice change from the sea of grey, white and red cars you often see. It comes to market from ~1 year ownership.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hi John, just wondering when you’ve owned your 911 for 15 years, why selling the cayman after 1 yr? I note 6 previous owners – are there concerns you have about the car ? The more info the better to make a decision. Thanks
Hi, John has asked me to pass on his reply:
I had to sell my 911 some years ago because of a divorce otherwise I would still
have it today. I needed a car for my holiday last year to the West country and the
Cayman seemed a good bet plus the fact I bought it from a well known Porsche
dealer in my area. I have since purchased an F type so decided to let the cayman
go as I can only drive one at a time. I have no concerns about this car, in my
ownership I have had no problems what so ever. For the MOT I only needed to
replace the wiper blades and it passed with no advisories. It’s a great car with no
known faults, ready to enjoy as I did, regards, John.
