The third-generation Boxster (known internally as 981) was first announced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. The 981 was a big step up from its predecessor with a new body, 40% more torsionally rigid chassis, a wider front track, longer wheelbase, and a 35kg weight reduction.
The 2013 model of the Porsche Boxster was a big change in design - a step away from the sleek small body to a more muscular shape. Larger side intakes deeply set into the rear-quarter panels and deeply crease the doors, echoing the Carrera GT.
The third-gen also came equipped with a newly developed flat-6 2.7-litre and PDK automatic gearbox offering the driver 265bhp to tap into. Marion purchased this example 5 years ago and has enjoyed pottering around town in this convertible example since, especially on bright and sunny afternoons.

Hi, does the car come with a service book? Or just receipts?
the later boxsters have a computer record,this porsche was serviced immediately the notification light came on-average use was 800-1200miles per ryear during summer monhs only,it was garaged under cover in the winter.As the recommendations are a service every 20000 miles fr this model,it very rarely neede servicing.

insurance depends ntirely on driving recrd,age and where you live,unfrtunately that means everybody will get different quotes,suggest you call a broker.road tax is minimal compared to cost of car

dear Bill last service was in oct2021 .the car was always serviced whenever the notification light came up immediately .and only used between may/june to octocer when it was put in an underground garage eachh winter,during my 5 yrs ownership it has done approx 7000 miles in total,the boxster should be serviced every 20000 iles or 2 yrs
