Introduction
Alan Stuart
A Rolls-Royce with a genuine appeal, the Silver Shadow in restored condition like this are hard to come by.
Originally launched in 1965, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was to be the nucleus for the brand for the next 30 years. Noted for its use of a unitary body and chassis construction, the Silver Shadow retained the build quality, comfort and prestige of the brand, in an attractive modern and hugely appealing package. Considered a revolution for the brand, helping the prestigious company to appeal to a new demographic and creating their best selling model in the process.
This example has near-perfect Rolls-Royce service history and retains its original paperwork, and has recently come out of a "back to factory" restoration. The previous owner had the car for some 31 years, the current owner acquiring the vehicle after it had been garaged for 19 years. Specified new with non-standard paint and interior embellishments, the car’s presentation is exceptional and has to be considered one of the best examples of the Series II currently on sale.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Alan after meeting Richard the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

I WANT ONEAsk Questions
Hello Richard, two questions if I may. Firstly, what is the oil consumption – if any? Secondly, may I view the csr on site? Thank you. Charles B Telfer
Hi there, I have done very few miles in the car since ownership, probably less than 50. The oil level remains the same.as when it came back from service and it doesn’t show blue smoke at any time.
Re viewing you are most welcome. Please contact Trade Classics and they will arrange for you.
Hope to see you soon.
