Introduction
Josh Sharples
The Silver Seraph is everything a “Roller” should be - bold, beautiful and incredibly luxurious.
A worthy successor to the Silver Spirit, the Silver Seraph made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 1998. Beautiful styling, an opulent Connolly leather interior, Burl Walnut trim and BMW’s highly capable M73 engine came together in a breathtakingly luxurious package. V12 power is delivered through a five-speed automatic gearbox and will propel this substantial car to a specified top speed of 140MPH. Hand built in the Rolls Royce factory in Crewe, the Silver Seraph had a base price, when new, of a shade under £156,000.
This is a lovely example. Ceramic coated and finished in beautiful and popular "Peacock Blue" over a magnolia Connolly leather interior, it really does present well. The car has been well looked after with plenty of bills showing diligent and careful ownership – where else can you get luxury of this kind, and now, for a fraction of the original cost.

Hi Brian, Apologies as I could not quite make it out from the photos but were the tyres ever replaced? Also do you have any maintenance docs from 20 yrs ago about the speedo change?
Thanks.
Hi Ryan,
The current owner has not replaced the tyres. Regarding the speedo change it is documented in the service book by the main dealer and the mileage noted.
Thanks
Brian.
Thank you Brian. One final question please: Was the ceramic coating initiated by the current owner? If not do you know when it was done? Thanks again!
Hi
The current owner has had it done.
I noticed a damp patch of fluid under the rear axle! Please comment. Also you seem to be going through a few batteries!! Is this normal for these vehicles.
Hi
Sorry I haven’t replied earlier, I don’t think the damp patch on the floor is the Rolls, it would have been picked up on the last inspection/ service work carried out at Stratton motor company. As regard to the battery question, since Declan has owed it there has been no issue at all, as you are aware these cars need to be on a trickle charger when not in use as he has done.
Thanks
Brian.
