Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
These traditional saloons come from an era of refined motoring with reliable engineering, luxurious with their wood and leather trim.
The Rover P4, was a mid-sized luxury saloon car produced from 1949 until 1964 and penned by Gordon Bashford. The final member of the series was the Rover 110, it was a refined '100' with a more powerful engine, overdrive as standard, and producing ~123BHP with its 2.6L engine.
This example is coming to market from ~11 years ownership, the owner is an active member in the P4 club, and has taken the car to various shows across the country. The current owner has spent time re-trimming the interior on this car, and as a result it is definitely the highlight on this example.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting John the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Hi Keith again
Apparently you have to go through TRADE CLASSICS first. I don`t know if they will get in touch with you, or you have to phone them, but you are more than welcome to have a look.
Regards
JOHN
Morning John, Trade Classics now have my ID so hopefully we can arrange a viewing for this afternoon. Regards Keith

Hi John
I live in chard, about an hours drive away from Tiverton. Any chance I can come and have a look before the auction ends? I’m new to this classic car business, drove a P4 more than 50 years ago and am wanting to buy one and join the club
Best wishes Keith
Hi Kev
I don`t know what part of the car you are looking at in particular, but as far as I know there is no filler in the car at all, but you are very welcome to have a look at the car if you want to.
Kind regards
JOHN
Hi John, beautiful car a credit to you.
I have been searching for a 110 for quite sometime, my question is bodywork, there seems to be quite a bit of filler in the car, hence the cracks appearing, can you confirm for me what bodywork has been done and if there is a lot of filler in the car.
Thank you and good luck with the sale.
Kind regards
Kev
Hello John, Wondered if you agree that the Rover looks to be “riding” high on the front suspension in the pics …it almost looks like the engine is out! Is this an optical illusion or is there a reason for this high-riding look? – Bill
Hi Bill
I have to say this is something I really have never noticed as I know very little about the workings or mechanics of the car, if anything goes wrong it goes straight to the garage. I can say that it makes no difference to the drive of the car. As far as I know there is`nt any problem there. Hope this helps
Kind regards
JOHN
