Jacob Boodrie
One great-looking, V8-powered, four-seat convertible - the Triumph Stag ticks so many boxes for anyone on the search for a true '70s sports car.
The Triumph Stag is a 2+2 sports tourer which was produced between 1970 and 1978 by the British Triumph Motor Company and styled by Giovanni Michelotti - a very talented Italian designer.
Packing a punch with its 3.0L V8 which offers 145bhp and a top speed of 120mph. The Stag is a great-looking and great-sounding British sports car with a huge cult following.
This example is coming out of 5 years of cherished ownership by Trevor, a design engineer who has enjoyed using the car as much as he has maintaining it. He's driven the car to a classics Le Mans show and across France. Trevor has given the car a few cosmetic touches to really elevate it to the condition you see it in today.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Trevor the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Hi when was the timing chain last changed, regards Brian
Hello Brian, I don’t know when the timing chain was last replaced. The engine was rebuilt c1997 so I’m sure it would have been changed then and then has done relatively few miles since then. I have owned the car for over 5 years and covered less than 4k miles in that time. Hope this helps. Regards Trevor.
