Introduction
Jacob Boodrie
With classic V8 power and stylish Michelotti design, the Stag is a true classic with a cult following.
The Triumph Stag is a 2+2 sports tourer which was produced between 1970 and 1978 by Triumph and styled by Giovanni Michelotti - a very talented Italian designer. Packing a punch with its 3.0L V8, this offered 145bhp and a top speed of 120mph. The Stag is a great-looking and great-sounding British sports car with a huge following.
Finished in "Triumph White" with gold pinstripes, and contrasting tan interior, this is quite the usable example, an older restoration from the 90s, and comes to market from 4 years of ownership, this is a genuine example to be used and improved over time.
This auction listing was written from information supplied by Jacob after meeting Philip the owner, and having visited and photographed the vehicle.

Sorry Philip, one last one, does car have rear seat belts?
sorry no rear seat belts.
Hi Philip, can I ask why your selling her? Also the dreaded rust, is there any?, and when was the car last serviced? Also If I win,I plan to drive car back, approx two hours drive, need I worry?
Regards Mark (Bowman1964)
Selling because I want to simplify my life. No rust except a few spots on the chrome bumpers. Bodywork absolutely sound including underside. I do the servicing, oil changed 1000 miles ago. Last long drive I did this spring was 2 hours and car gave no problems.
Update – The seller Philip has provided pictures of the soft-top up, and we have added these to the listing and updated accordingly. You can see the pictures in the gallery; https://www.tradeclassics.com/auctions/triumph/1972-triumph-stag-3/#gallery1-276 Best, Kulraj – Trade Classics
